Fitu viewpoint |
| From the high of the Fitu precious views of the coast and Asturian mountains can be observed. In sunny days the dusks are incredible, a suitable place for the lovers of the photography, the nature and the heights, with the Picos de Europa to the bottom and all the Asturian coast on our feet. The car leaves us in the top. The high of the Fitu is 10 Km from The Guindal Hotel and is visible from its large windows. |

Sueve Mountains |
| The Sueve Mountaisn separates the council of Parres from the Asturian coast. On top of the Sueve Sierra (Picu Pienzu) we see the famous Cross of Pienzu, visible from our hotel and where the wonder of the Asturian coast can be contemplated, with its beaches and fishing towns. In order to arrive at the Cross of Pienzu we must leave the car at the Fitu viewpoint and take a very clear way (west direction) that will take us to the top in barely two hours. The ascent is easy and pretty. In addition we will find 2 fountains. |

Activities of active tourism |

Arriondas is characterized by his ample supdistinguishess of active tourism. Asturian geography,more concretely the geography of the east of Asturias, is very rich in true natural treasures such as the Vallegón, Dobra or Sella rivers. Last one is very famous by its fishing and because of the celebration of the International Sella descent, considered the most important test at world-wide level of river descents. This event takes place the first Saturday of August. |

Basilica and Lakes of Covadonga |

Its about 11Km from our hotel the Basilica de Covadonga and the Santa Cueva, where is "la Santina" image of devotion for all the Asturian ones. Above we find the Lagos de Covadonga, one of the most emblematic places of Asturias; Note: it is preferable to visit the Lagos in the morning and the Basilica in the afternoon. |

Buxu and Tito Bustillo caves |

The first one is very close to Cangas de Onís and the second one, and more important, is in Ribadesella. Both contain important samples of cave painting. Note: it is important to make a previous appointment to visit them. |

Cabrales, Poncebos, Bulnes, Tielve, Sotres, Tresviso ... |
|
Are villages located in the heart of the Picos de Europa, easily accessible by car, except Bulnes which must be by funicular or on foot. In these towns we can taste the famous Cabrales cheese. |

Cares route |
|
Old footpath that links the towns of Caín and Poncebos. It is recommended to begin the long walk in Caín since it is the most striking part. Note: the complete route is 22km, roundtrip, so is recommendable to think of we must return by the same way. |
| Fuente Dé Cableway |

From this enclave we can gain access by means of cableway to the top of the central massif of the Picos de Europa, an unforgettable trip. Point that Fuente Dé is about two hours and a half from Arriondas |

| Coves and Beaches |

In the east of Asturias the number of beaches and coves is immense. The Llanes area keeps many beauties between its cliffs that should be discovered and visited. It is fundamental to carry a map. Beaches as "Torimbia" (nudist) and "Cuevas del Mar" in Llanes are a must visit. Note: find the "Gulpiyuri" and "de la Canal" beaches (Ribadesella area), natural geyser in Villanueva de Pria, Playa de Barro, San Martín, "Cubos de la memoria" in Llanes (from Agustín Ibarrola, a Spanish sculptor). |

The three most important cities of the Principality of Asturias. Cities of a must visit so much for their history as for their beauty. To gain access to these cities from Arriondas it is recommended to use the "the coast" highway from Ribadesella or Colunga and nearly crosses the complete Asturian eastern coast. Another option is to use the N-634 road. |
| Valdedios monastery and Villaviciosa |

Valdedios monastery is one of the best samples of the Asturian pre-romanesque period, in a perfect condition; Villaviciosa is famous by its "el Gaiteru" cider, turrones (nougat) and its cider tradition. |
